China Bloggers Arrested. Why are we surprised?
Posted on August 22, 2008
I was going to write a very in-depth post about the situation, and citizen journalism and it’s role in the world, but my friends at the Push My Follow podcast had a really great discussion with Dan Patterson (@creepysleepy, and soon to be employed by ABC News) about these very topics.
I highly recommend that all my readers read my previous post and then immediately listen to Push My Follow, Episode 13. Leave comments here and at the PMF website. This is an important topic.
UPDATE: The bloggers have been released from the China jail and are on the way back to the U.S. (via Andrew Baron)
